Summer 2012 there will be: 67 meals served, over 40 canteen breaks, 5 or more special ice-cream/popcorn nights, dozens of kids sneaking in snacks, and faculty/staff going out for late-night Taco Bell runs. The campers and adults will NOT be physically hungry this summer.
More importantly there will be: 26 chapel services, 26 evening campfire services, 58+ classes, prayer circles each night, daily scripture memorization, and hundreds of meaningful conversations. Our focus for this summer is to bring the campers into a deeper, stronger, new, or more passionate desire to be “Hungry” for Christ.
“Manna” for “Hungry” campers is both a spiritual and physical journey. Funny how things work out, isn’t it? Our “Manna” program is geared at paying off the loan of our recently remodeled kitchen. The new kitchen was used for the first time in 2011 (our 50th year of camp!!!) and will be a blessing for years to come.
Debt is a scary thing, but it motivates us to be better stewards of what we have. As we seek to pay off this loan with your help, we keep in mind that our debt to the bank is nothing compared to what we owe our Savior. Consider giving a gift of Manna to help our Hungry youth.
Manna envelopes are available for you to support the project on a monthly basis. If you would like some envelopes, give Jason a call or pick them up this summer.

On September 25th Gasconade Christian Service Camp celebrated her 50th anniversary. A great time of fellowship, food, a special service and much more was enjoyed by about 300 people! If you'd like to see some pictures of the event simply click HERE.
